Lucky Girl {San Antonio Photographer}
I have always loved being outside. I can remember picking veggies in our garden (eating the cherry tomatoes right off the vine), playing in the backyard in my “little house” that mom & dad gave me for my birthday when I was 4, playing in the sandbox (after it had been wet with the water hose of course…better sand castles), smelling mom’s roses that lined the chain-link fence, running through the grass with no shoes on…the stories go on forever.
These days I still love being outside. I think if it wasn’t for the mosquitos, I would live in the tree house, hang from the branches of our live oaks, whistle like a cardinal, and pretend that tomorrow does not exist. I would live in the now.
My hubby loves me. He brings me joy (literally). He fills my bucket, he brings me happiness, he spoils me. Chad tolerates all of my nature addictions, the several bird feeders, the flowers, the seeds, the cement garden decor, the bird houses, the green grass I run my toes through, my rock paintings, my veggie garden, my fruit orchard, all of it. Lately he had been talking about seeing some “yellow birds” outside when I was at work (I have an addiction to bird watching). The next day, he took me to the savy bird store and we bought a finch feeder. ..Now look what what I saw this week….bringing me joy. I am such a lucky girl.

How cool! I have never seen that many on a bird feeder at once!
This pictures is wonderful! So peaceful! I love that you have ‘nature addictions,’ haha too cute!
Hi,
What a great shot! How did you manage to do that?
Thanks for the visit!
I love the beauty of nature, too…
See you around.
Have a great weekend!
Ok, that is cool !
That is an awesome pic. I can’t have bird feeders (although I would love to) because we have two kitties who are VERY good hunters and I just can’t bring myself to make it any easier for them! It’s bad enough they lie in wait under the cedars and peg off the chickadees once or twice a week. The only thing that allows me to stomach it and not break down balling for the poor birdies is that both cats have a tendency to devour their kill (head, feathers, feet and all - ewwwwwwweeeh)! LOL.
Lucky you! What a fantastic view to look at - I love finches. Their bright yellow just makes me smile. Enjoy the view!
A finch collection! I envy…Would love to catch a photo of a little finchie in flight. Such amazing colors! Did you notice they are all pointed in the same direction depending on where they are sitting? They seem to be very organized…Did you direct their posing?
